White privilege is not having to worry that if you speak to the white guy you’re dating about systems of oppression/power he might stop liking you. White privilege is being able to talk about how race functions in those systems and be seen as credible and knowledgeable whereas we, who got a degree in that shit cause we live it everyday, are seen as angry and resentful.
White privilege is not having to rely on foreign-made media to find diverse representations of people who share your ethnicity. It is also not moving away to the home country of said media to work as a entertainer since your own country of birth would never fully accept you or your talents if you aren’t a palatable caricature for the mainstream media.

White privilege is being able to wear the Kofeyye and not be worried that someone will call you a terrorist
White privilege is not having to think about racial dynamics, worry about whether or not you’re playing into a racial stereotype, about satisfying someone’s Asian fetish, or about whether your partner likes you fully for the human you are when you start dating a white guy.
white privilege is freely expressing frustration and anger without worrying that you might be reinforcing negative stereotypes about your race.
White privilege is not having to feel uncomfortable while playing Bioshock Infinite. White privilege is not having to see demonized caricatures of your race in the game, or wandering around feeling trapped in a city that values “racial purity.” Yes, it’s just a game. But the context still has very real roots in life history.
White Privilege is being able to complain Reverse Racism exists because you’ll never have to experience it as a systematic institution, but instead were merely made uncomfortable for a few seconds because of your feelings of white guilt. White privilege is being able to use said white guilt to consistently silence the complaints of POC by saying racism is no longer real or there because you said so, and having the whole world now reluctant to discuss it because you said so.
White privilege is being able to lie down on a shopping mall bench after taking ill and stay there as long as you need to without being accused of loitering, begging or soliciting.
White privilege is never having people question you about having a big family. “Do you all have the same parents?” “You do! Whoa, your parents got real busy! lol.” “Your parents are still married? OMG, that’s amazing!”

White privilege is being able to say “Everyone knows that people die in Syria, Pakistan, Somalia, you name it. Sadly and regretfully that’s what become reality over there. It does not make it any less evil and pointless, it is what it is over there and luckily, bombs are not integral part of everyday life in Boston” to a group of PoC’s who try to raise the issue of unlawful & often unheard treatment/killing of PoC’s in other parts of the world as well as in the States…
Because apparently, bombings/death/mistreatment of PoC’s inside & outside the US is a part of their life & people should just get used it…
White privilege is being able to make or act in a film about any period in time and never having to show your entire race being oppressed solely for the sake of historical accuracy.
