Thank you Miley for explaining that to me. Gosh here I was being marginalized all my life for the color of my skin and it turns out that whoops, I’ve been being black wrong. Maybe all of my problems were because I had the wrong “vibe”. There I was busy trying to survive life being black in a whitewashed world when I should have been “hanging out, kicking back, smoking a number, fighting prejudice and negative stereotypes wherever I found them” like a fucking dopefiend social justice superhero.  So all those times I was profiled, or marginalized, heard you’re so pretty/smart/intelligent/well mannered/respectful for a black girl had nothing to do with my skin color but everything to do with my vibe. Got it.
Bitch, could you please just shut the fuck up already? Team Black does NOT want your simple ass, it is was unanimous decision. Instead of twerking, getting grills and creating “bangerz” (really bitch? Bc adding the Z definitely legitimizes the faux “urban” appeal)  just accept the fact that nobody is here for your bullshit except ppl who think like you. Guess what? They also look like you, and your parents and your grandparents too. Wonder why? They are the people who want to do/say/participate in black things for a spell but still maintain their white sensibility. You’re Elvis fucking 2.0 bitch, a “black culture” conduit for people unwilling to deal with actual blackness. You’re everything “black” wrapped up in an “edgy” (exploitative) lily white package. You could be a bestfriend, daughter, sister, cousin, neighbor, classmate etc, because your looks don’t cause discomfort, your self expression isn’t seen as crude/lewd, your clothes aren’t seen as vulgar/thuggish, your bottle blonde hair is seen as just hair and not a societally conditioned rejection of yourself that should be both applauded (for conformity’s sake) and pitied, your actions aren’t seen as suspicious, you’re thoughts aren’t feared as dangerous you look familiar; after all you were a disney kid and everyone goes through a “rebellious stage”*insert boring white teenage rebellion memory montage ending with a series of dry chuckles and guffaws*.  You make black culture stomach-able for the masses. They get the experience in a “safe” form under the guise of a phase and get to keep living their lives when its said and done.
Black culture in and of itself it an affront to the sensibilities of the whitewashed world @ large. How can blacks have culture? One that is unique to them when they were stripped of their histories, identities, cultures, traditions, languages, knowledge and forced to assimilate to mainstream white culture. To have culture suggest both intellect and pride in oneself and goodness knows that is clearly something that has been drummed out of blacks these last few centuries. God forbid that ever actually happen. But never fear we have Miley to be the black culture’s leading expert and authority on all things black.
Black culture is rebellion, it is perseverance, resilience, dignity in the face of adversity, survival, joy in spite of trials, tribulations and legalized persecution….It is not fucking kicking back and smoking a number. I sincerely hope that the next time you try to shake your tailbone and pass it off as “twerking” someone kicks the shit out of the space where your ass should be. Word is born from my fingers to God’s ears.

I’ve seen this gif on my dash on a few times lately. Just want to point out there is no source or video to confirm this quote, and if she said this, it’d be all over HuffPo and TMZ and all that stuff. So I’m pretty sure this is fake. -Dion

but the thing is even if she didnt say those words verbatim she says them in her actions..appearance..and through the outlandish shit she has been tweeting..just because she might not have said those words doesnt mean that she isnt personifying the sentiment

Okay, but that’s a completely separate argument. What she says with her actions etc. is different from whether or not this is a legitimate quote from her, and it’s not.
