White privilege is Greek life at our school. All the white-dominate fraternities and sororities go through formal rush and are recognized, while the black-dominate fraternities and sororities go through informal rush. Odds are, you’ll hear about black fraternities and sororities through flyers, but you’ll hear about white fraternities and sororities through giant sheet paintings.

You wouldn’t even know people of color were involved in Greek life if it weren’t for them wearing letters.

Mod note: Wanna sidenote this and say that traditionally, black sororities and fraternities don’t participate with many formal aspects of their campus’ Greek Life. That was previously because of segregation, but is now because of choice.
