White privilege is telling Buddhists of color, whose ancestors founded and established Buddhism and then suffered through centuries of white colonialist missionaries and the disrespect/destruction of their faith, that ‘race isn’t really relevant’ to Buddhist praxis now that white people are the major beneficiaries of the Yoga Industrial Complex.
