White privilege is protesting the Affordable Care Act and labeling it as “obamacare” and a form of “welfare” for “those people”….Meanwhile symapathy and an outpouring of donations are expected because many of the survivors of the shooting in Aurora did not have health insurance and they are depending on donations from strangers and the benevolence of hospital personnel to assist with their medical bills which continue pile up.

White people, you cannot have it both ways, either you support healthcare for ALL or you don’t…You don’t get to decide who lives and who dies. Some of these people will face months and years of rehab and psychiatric counseling. You can’t make exceptions when “those people” happen to be white and live in a surburb outside of Denver.

Mod note: It’s because they want to demonize poor people. If you were hurt in the Aurora tragedy and don’t have healthcare, you were just unlucky, but if you get hurt in a car accident and don’t have healthcare, it’s because you’ve done something wrong in your life that made you poor.
