Anonymous asked: Why is it that before being in contact with Europeans, blacks never invented a written language, weaved cloth, a calendar, a plow, a road, a ship, a system of measurement, or even the wheel? Why didn't they cultivate a single crop, domesticate a single animal, or build any shelter more advanced than a mud hut, the construction of which a beaver or muskrat is capable of?
