The fact that a bunch of crackers think anyone gives a fuck what they think about black music is white privilege. They didn’t give Kanye a 10.0 for Kanye. They gave Kanye a 10.0 for themselves. Literally, more people were talking about Pitchfork giving MBDTF a 10.0 than were actually talking about MBDTF. And the fact that they consider themselves tastemakers when all they do is hype white artists who appropriate black music is ridiculous. Fuck Vampire Weekend. Fuck Animal Collective. Fuck the periodical that touts their appropriation as revolutionary.
