White privilege is knowing that even if you’re the minority in your school within the student body, the teachers, administration, and boards of education for your county and state are almost definitely dominated by people who look like you. The textbooks, curriculum, and standardized tests are all written by people who look like you. The psychological concepts on which education are based were conceptualized by people who look like you. The entire field of academia is dominated by the voice of people who look like you. 

Trust me: just because there are more black kids than white kids are your school, doesn’t mean you aren’t still in the majority.
